Nexus Technology Partners prioritizes relationships with both our clients and our fellow technicians. Let our team of experts put their experience and knowledge to work for your digital and IT needs.

Mark Stevens
Principal Consulting Technician
Originally from Maine, Mark Stevens has been involved in the world of technology from a very young age. After earning his B.S. in Computer Science & Mathematics from Westminster College in Pennsylvania, Mark worked for several big-name tech companies in Boston including Sun Microsystems, Lucent Technologies and Cisco Systems. In 2004, Mark left the noisy hubbub of Boston for the greener pastures of Indiana. He worked as a Network & Systems Administrator at Hyndman Industrial until joining Nexus in 2013.
Mark’s day-to-day activities as Principal Consulting Technician include managing his team of technicians, designing networks and camera systems, and providing IT support to both the Sturges affiliate companies and external clients. His favorite part of his job is mentoring young technicians, especially the 20 college interns he has had the privilege to work with during this time in Indiana.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys mowing his lawn and maintaining his woodland trails. He also enjoys hosting movie nights with his friends in his self-designed basement theater.

Richard Thompson
Consulting Technician
Though he never considered himself to be an alchemist, Richard was able to transmute a large sum of money and four years into a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Indiana Tech. It was with this degree that he sought to begin his career in the exciting field of IT. He was later disappointed to learn that he had not gone into a field dedicated to the study of monster clowns, so he did computer-y stuff instead.
In what can only be described as a series of Thunderdome-like challenges, Richard joined Nexus Technology Partners. While he still fights no clowns, he wears many hats, including domain, database and network administrator – even if the hats don’t fit because his head is too big.
In his spare time, Richard wonders why life giving you lemons is a bad thing. I mean, do you want scurvy?

Cole Preston
Consulting Technician
Cole joined Nexus Technology Partners in 2018 as an intern while attending Indiana Tech, then was hired on as a full-time employee upon graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Web Development.
Cole’s job duties often vary, but he spends most of his time in research and software development. His favorite part of the job is being tasked to research and produce programs based on a new concept presented to him.
At Nexus Technology Partners, Cole primarily works on digital directories and signage as well as building card access systems, but also provides a slew of other IT services.

Ryan Heiser
IT Support Lead
Originally hailing from Crown Point, Indiana, Ryan decided to make the trek out east to Fort Wayne to pursue his passion for all things technology. Ryan became obsessed with automation after working in an Amazon warehouse, so he decided to study coding and microcontrollers on his own time. Ryan has a constant drive to find new ways to streamline different processes through the use of technology, instead of through the use of humans. He is excited to learn new things every day and is very interested in understanding how hardware and software function in our modern society. His favorite part of the job is the untapped and nearly infinite amount of new things to learn, as well as the variety of day-to-day tasks.
In his spare time, Ryan likes to prototype Arduino projects, design and print objects on his 3D printer, and grill up a mean New York strip.

Mark Berlin
Technician
Mark Berlin brings his IT knowledge and skills to help support the Nexus Technology Partners team.
Previously, Mark worked for several local print shops and a call center providing remote IT support to clients. He holds a CompTIA A+ certificate, and is always looking to learn more.
When he's not at work, Mark enjoys playing role-playing video games, reading horror stories, and finding new restaurants to try with his wife.

Kendall Stevens
Marketing Mage
Kendall began her journey there and back again with Sturges Property Group, an affiliate of Nexus Technology Partners. Now, she manages the social media, copywriting, and digital signage design of Nexus Technology Partners alongside her duties at Sturges Property Group.
She wears many hats in her work, such as escoffions, baseball caps, and spangenhelms.
When it's time to rest and there aren't monsters nearby, Kendall enjoys playing video games and maxxing out her skill level of the ultimate spellcasting language, French. Klingon is a close second. Qapla'!

Amy Schuldt
Graphic Designer
Amy is the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer for Sturges Company Holdings, which includes Nexus Technology Partners. She creates and maintains any necessary print, web, promotional, PR, or advertising pieces for all the affiliate companies.
Previously, Amy worked for the Fort Wayne Arthur Murray Dance Studio for 13 years as a ballroom dance instructor and studio manager. She also ran the e-commerce department for Los Poblanos Organic Farm, a historic lavender farm and inn in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before joining Sturges in 2023.
In her spare time, Amy can be found outside exploring Fort Wayne or hiking the trails at state parks. If there is a festival happening in or around Allen County, you will most likely see her there. She also enjoys traveling, creating fine art, attending concerts, camping, and baking. Amy is also a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters and participates in various 5k events.
